Police officials have claimed that the blast was a suicide attack.
A car containing up to 18 bombs was also found from the area. The Bomb Disposal squad was called in to defuse the bombs.
All injured were shifted to the hospital.
Police and security forces have cordoned off the area and have started investigations.
The area, which is 22 to 25 km away from Quetta, is sensitive because of its adjoining border with Afghanistan. The area is also used as a passage for NATO containers.
In July, an Awami National Party rally was targeted in the same area killing eight and injuring 22.

Every passing day the situation on all fronts is going from bad to worse. Not much is being done to stop the fast moving train heading towards you. The only relief is the phul jhaRis by the SC.
All the bombs are caught on the way from afghanistan
You are right. Its time govt gives baluchistan some priority and get rid of these terrorists and afghans
its silly that pak gov taking care of refugees instead og own people.
Kuchlaq is infested with Afghan Refugees and Talibans. This peaceful area on the outskits of Quetta has become a den of Afghan Crimes. Unless Afghan refugees are sent back, Pakistan should forget about peace, target killings and Shia / Sunni divide.
