Preparations : Security tightened across Sindh today

IGP Sindh directs increased security at public places, government and semi-government buildings and business centres.

KARACHI: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari, has called for enhanced security arrangements in the province for Friday with extra officers to be deployed at central mosques, imambarghas, and Juma congregations.

The IGP called for increased patrolling on main highways and troubled neighbourhoods.

He directed that security be increased at public places, shopping centres, parks, government and semi-government buildings, and commercial and business centres.
