Antiques discovery: Centuries-old coins found from soil

Villagers said almost 50 coins carrying Persian inscription had been discovered so far.

MOTRA: Silver coins apparently several hundred years old have been found buried at the Alu Mahar village.The coins were found from the soil being removed for the construction of a bank branch. Villagers said almost 50 coins carrying Persian inscription had been discovered so far. Bank officials and villagers said the soil came from Paharon Wala Dera.
