MUMBAI: Choreographer-director Remo D’Souza has used the chartbuster track Aa Re Pritam Pyaare from the film Rowdy Rathore, in his new film ABCD – AnyBody Can Dance. He says it will be shown in the movie with a new twist. The film is being made in 3D and focuses on dance.

“I have got Aa Re Pritam Pyaare, the superhit song from Rowdy Rathore in ABCDAny Body Can Dance. It was a surprise for Prabhudheva, who had directed Rowdy Rathore. I figured why not have something that he had created for his film and show it with a new twist in ABCD,” Remo told IANS.

Remo, who has assembled various dancers together for his dance-based 3D film, says there is one common factor in the picturisation of the number that was shown in Rowdy Rathore and the one being used in ABCD.

“Interestingly, Shakti Mohan danced to Aa Re Pritam Pyaare in Rowdy Rathore; Shakti is a Dance India Dance [a dance reality TV show] winner. And in ABCD, Vrushali, another superb Dance India Dance dancer, who is making her mark in Bollywood now, has danced on this mega hit track,” he said.

“The song is used in the film for a bit,” he added.

Directed by Remo and produced by UTV Motion Pictures, ABCD features veterans such as Prabhudheva and Ganesh Acharya, alongside several young choreographers.
