HYDERABAD: Sindh University’s [SU] administrative staff continued their boycott. SU has been trying to continue holding classes with little success.

Attendance was low in spite of the university hiring new transporters on temporary contract to bring in students from Hyderabad, Kotri and Tandojam.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Nazir Mughal offered ‘unconditional negotiations’ on Friday to the protesting employees. However, he refused to acquiesce to their demand to remove Registrar Muhammad Nawaz Narejo.
