Telecom services: PTCL inks agreement with DHA

PTCL says this partnership will enable residents of DHA Islamabad to experience superior telecom services.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has inked an agreement with the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad for extending Information Communications Technology (ICT) services and infrastructure deployment in DHA.

In a press release, PTCL says this partnership will enable residents of DHA Islamabad to experience superior telecom services including voice telephony, broadband internet and SmartTV as well as Evo wireless broadband internet services. Earlier, PTCL was providing telecom services in Phase I and II of DHA and now the network and services are being extended to remaining sectors of DHA II.

The agreement was signed by PTCL SEVP Business Zones Muhammad Nasrullah and DHA Administrator Brigadier Sadullah Fatimi.

PTCL was the only telecom service which was delivering a satisfactory service in DHA. None of the other telecom companies was willing to resolve these issues of the residents of DHA. I'm sure we'll be able to get further improved service now
