Near miss: Policeman injured by cracker bombs

Unidentified men attack police mobile stationed for snap checking near the Edhi morgue.

A police mobile was damaged and a policeman wounded when two unidentified men on a motorcycle threw two cracker bombs from the Sohrab Goth flyover at the police van.

The van had been stationed for snap checking near the Edhi morgue, within the jurisdiction of Federal B Industrial Area police station. The culprits managed to escape and the injured policeman was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Gulberg SSP Amir Farooqui said they know nothing about the culprits and the case is still being investigated.
