The FIR was registered on an application filed by NAB officers who have maintained that Faisal – who was part of the team investigating the Rental Power Projects case – was killed and did not commit suicide.
Faisal’s initial post mortem report had declared his death to be the result of suicide. But his family members had rejected the report.
The FIR was registered under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) which lists punishment for murder.
Following Faisal’s death, NAB officers and employees had demanded the NAB chairman to assure an independent investigation into the case and provide adequate security to officers.
Faisal was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room at a government hostel in Islamabad, three days after the Supreme Court ordered the prime minister’s arrest in the RPPs case.
The Supreme Court had also taken a suo motu notice of the incident.

If Kamran's death is eventually proved as murder, which it is beginning to look more and more with each passing day, then the doctors who certified it as a suicide should also be criminally charged for trying to subvert justice. We do not need doctors in the country who falsify reports at the behest of powerful. They do disservice to their oath and their profession.
Dear Sir
I would like to point out that the name of the new proposed province Bahawalpur Janoobi Paunjab will be acronym as BJP which will not be taken well as the same is already used for Bhartia Janta Party which is a anti Pakistan hardliner party in the neighbouring country.
It should rather be named as Bhawalpur South Punjab - BSP
Regards,
Why is NAB still protecting the IDs of the employees who broke into Kamran's room?
Really and how funny, surprising and interesting after the very very long long time??? But as usual this FIR shall be thrown in the dust bin and this murder/suicide case shall be closed and declared as the blind murder/suicide case.
The death of Kamran Faisal is an absolute disaster and the citizens are unwilling to take it on face value. The face value being suicide.
A junior officer being asked to investigate a fraud is unheard of unless it was decided to make a scapegoat out of him. Committing a mistake and trying to cover it up through another mistake only exponentially heightens the disaster.

Totally amazed, how post mortem report can declare it as the suiside when there are rough up`s marks on his whole body. first sentence those doctors and then investigate
wow !!! FINALLY !!!! what a country ...
Pakistan has become a state where the elite ,mighty and the corrupt are protected at all costs. The son of an influential person is given a Vip protocol at the airport while fleeing to dubai after commiting a murder while the death of a poor man's son is declared a suicide.Would things ever change in Pakistan ?
How and Why NAB chaiman declared the Kamran death is Sucide
his name also include for investigations, also asked him, on what ground, he said like this
Good move by NAM emlpoyees, they should protect them self
This is no ordinary murder. Some one who did this is a professional killer whose job description includes "eliminate any one without fear."
At least Kamran's family can get justice and responsible politicians should be punished in real manner.
All those doctors who performed postmortem cannot give a false report regarding the cause of the death of an officer who was associated with the NAB and a very important case. The dead body of the officer must have been seen by hundreds of people before burial. Why did not his relatives or any body else raised the question of murder before the burial in an age when media is present everywhere?
Anyway justice demands that all tools of investigation should be used to determine the truth.
Thanks God, at least the first step has been completed.
No matter was is written and mentioned in the FIR, Kamran Faisal's case will come to its logic conclusion.
The truth will be revealed sooner or later - it is just a matter of time.
