Hangu incident: Clerics killed reciting Quran in mosque
One of the clerics, Qari Zahir died on the spot while the injured Qari Yousaf succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
HANGU:
Two clerics were killed when gunmen sprayed bullets on them as they were reciting the Holy Quran in a mosque at the Afghan refugee camp of Kata Kanray on Wednesday, DPO Hangu Dr Mian Saeed said.
The DPO said that city police and residents of the camp rushed to the mosque after the incident and shifted the bodies to the district headquarters hospital.
One of the clerics, Qari Zahir died on the spot while the injured Qari Yousaf succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
