Old fights: Former CM resolves dispute at jirga
Three people have been killed and 25 have been injured in the tribal dispute.
THATTA:
A four-year-old conflict between the Mundh and Bakik communities was resolved by the former chief minister of Balochistan, Saleh Muhammad Bohtani, in a jirga held in Thatta on Saturday.
The verdict delivered by the jirga stated that the Bakik community had to pay Rs8.8 million and the Mundh community Rs2.3 million as penalty. Three people have been killed and 25 have been injured in the tribal dispute.
