Prime Minister Pervez Ashraf announced that section 234 of the Constitution will be implemented and Balochistan will come under Governor Rule by Monday morning, Express News reported.

The prime minister was addressing the sit-in at Alamdar Road in Quetta. He expressed condolences on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari for the families of the victims of the bombings in Quetta on January 10.

He added that he remained in constant contact with all the political leaders, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawaz Sharif, Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain and Awami National Party leader Asfandyar Wali Khan.

All those injured in the blasts that were shifted to Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi will have their medical expenses covered by the government, the prime minister said.

Protestors reiterated that they will bury their dead once governor rule has been officially implemented.

PM Ashraf also stated that immediate family members of the deceased will be awarded jobs in the government.
