This is not the first time Khan has made a 90-day claim. He has previously said that the PTI can eradicate corruption in three months if voted into power.
Khan said that PTI was very clear on the matter of terrorism:
“Some terrorists can be brought to the negotiation table, while others will have to be dealt with guns.”
Khan arrived in the provincial capital to express solidarity with the protesting families, who have been staging a sit-in at Alamdar Road, where hundreds of protesters have gathered since Friday near the snooker hall that was the scene of Thursday’s twin suicide attacks, alongside 86 coffins carrying the victims’ shrouded bodies.
Khan said the incumbent government did not care about anyone, except for itself.
“There is absolutely no future of Pakistan under this government. People are fleeing Balochistan, given the current situation of security,” he said.
Khan added that the government was not doing anything, but “minting money” for financing their elections campaigns.
The PTI chief said that governor rule should be imposed in Balochistan and that, if the governor agrees, the army should be called in to control the situation.
Consoling the relatives, Khan said that the whole country was with them in this moment of grief. He said that the government of Balochistan should immediately step down.
“The ones who oppress you, inflict violence upon you are not Muslims, nor humans,” said PTI chief.
Quetta protests continue
Even 36 hours after the deaths of their loved ones, the families say they will not bury their dead unless the army takes control of the provincial capital and protects members of their sect from vigilante-style wings of extremist groups.
Banned militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi claimed responsibility for the bombings, which took place in an area dominated by the Hazara community and killed 102 people, with over 200 wounded.
Demonstrations are expected to pour in key cities, including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.

The promise of 90 days does ring a bell. Did the worst dictator of Pakistan Gen Zia not promise elections every time he spoke and he did not give up power till he dropped from the sky but after establishing the terrorist schools. @Ikhan actually you are mixing two separate statements. After Imran Khan visited Malala he condemned Taliban by name (actually the first time when he actually used their name to condemn them). Some time later, in an interview he was asked something like why he was not too outspoken about the Taliban, in reply to that he said he didn't give "big statements" against them because of the threat to his party members being attacked. But anyway he still continued to condemn them by name. For example in reference to Malala Yousafzai's case he said:

In the rally PTI’s Ejaz Chaudhry claimed that the spirit of change had spread through the country and how Pakistan needs to be “cleansed of America”. Several speakers paid tribute to Taliban leader Mullah Omar while ASWJ head Ahmed Ludhianvi claimed Pakistan did not need aid from the US and would ask ‘God’ for help.
So the moot question is
A. How do you save Shias while playing footsie with ASWJ and SSP?
B. Isn't February, 2012 to January, 2013 more than 90 days?

I appreciate Imran Khan for his visit to the grieving families who are bravely protesting against Friday’s brutal terrorist attack in Quetta along with their beloved’s deceased people. But at the same time, it is really very disappointing for me that Mr. Khan – who is still not in power and has no hidden agreement with the powerful agencies of the country – why not openly condemn terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi by the name that has claimed the responsibility. I would request all powerful stake holders of the country to be open with their people and stop playing games with poor and vulnerable people of the country.

Going by the current situation it is looking likely that PTI have zero chances of being elected to power. So, IK can afford to say what he likes because he will not have to deliver and he knows it.

The media, NGOs, academics and so called civil society unwillingness on Waziristan Genocide is even more palpable.
How many times have you heard any mainstream condemn the killing of Wazirs, Dawars and Mehsuds due to road blocks, food shortages and other inhumane treatment ?

Imran Khan never supported Taliban or any terrorist organisation. He always said to assess the situation and see who are the people fighting, Why are they fighting. Talk to them ask them to stop and if they don’t make army action part of bigger plan, fighting should not be the only plan. Now those who want to twist this statement have all the right to do so. My friend you have been fighting this war for 8 years. 86 dead bodies are on street after 8 years of fighting. If you want to continue fighting, support that cause but don’t teach us. You should vote for the person who supports this war like PPP who will appoint Raisani in balauchistan and we will cry for 5 years. Imran is a man with his heart in the right place. He has done tangible good for the country by constructing a cancer free treatment hospice and a university, are glorious examples of his dedication. And the Government will set up a Commission, just like the memogate, OBL raid, etc. / Judiciary. No report or result will ever come out from the Commission for reasons of National Interest. IK will still keep claiming that these are results of US drone strikes.
