Qadri, during a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, played footage of Malik in which he announced the threats Qadri will face during the long march.
“He did not say there might be an attack on me. He said there will be one,” said Qadri. “Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and the Supreme Court should take a suo motu notice of this person on his statements of spreading terrorism. He should be arrested and sent to jail,” he maintained.
Qadri said that if Malik knows about all terrorism threats then he must have all information regarding terrorist groups across the country. “He should be interrogated. Information should be sought from him regarding the terrorist network and then the network should be broken.”
He also termed Malik’s statement as a “direct threat” to him and said that he is not afraid of anyone but God.
Qadri invites PTI
Inviting leaders and workers of all political and religious parties of the country to his march, Qadri specially invited the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
Qadri said that the leaders of PTI should join him as their slogan of “change” is the same as his.
He said that he does not want political workers to leave their parties, but wants them to take part in the change process to avoid regretting it later.

As long as Dr. Qadri is a threat to Talibans thats enough for us to support him.
23rd December proved that Dr Tahir ul Qadri doesnt depend on Imran Khan. However, it would be nice to see these to together. Besides that, I doubt that his march will be a flop. His following is larger than Imran Khans following.
@Zab If what this article is reporting is true then Mr. Qadris statements are absurd at best. I'm no fan of the interior minister but his comments are no doubt based on intelligence reports which Mr. Qadri is not privy to. Asking the SC to take notice of the interiors minsters reports is just stupid.
@omair:
Dear, they did file petitions against the long-march, but, Judiciary has turned all those petitions down citing the basic rights' clauses of the constitution.
@Ch. Allah Daad: I now know what Ch, in your name is short for! Children indeed.
The government needs to accept the fact that this march is going to happen. This march is the legal right of the 180million in Pakistan!
Here is a better idea. Why don't you file a petition against him?
As no genuine political party and mature, sensible individual is supporting anarchist's long march, he is forced to seek help of immature young kids of PTI. As a Canadian he should know that exploiting children is a serious crime.
Such time wont come for IK to hack millions of votes as QADRI IS 'NOT' A CONTESTANT!
@Feedom Seeker: Insha Allah... it will be a flop show of this drama, self-proclaimed sh ul Islam. .::even the scholars of middle east & Egypt don't accept his calim of being sh ul islam::. He is politician in disguise
After listening to your press briefing I have no doubt that all those media men who think themselves to be the only 'men of honour' who can bring any change in our social setup do not want this status quo of sham democracy to be challenged by any one. Dr. sb your demands are all too constitutional and no one in these political parties or the so-called 'men and women of honour' of the 'vibrant' media (read biased) have any constitutional answers to them. Go on Dr. sab, whatever the size of the crowd we will join in, May Allah karim make this long march the beginning of the end. Without electoral reforms and a sound scrutiny mechanism as described in the 1976 Elections Act and implementation of June 8, 2012 electoral reforms judgement of Supreme Court, likes of Imran Khan or his party's (ideological and honest members not the recent turn coats read loootas) members can see the doors of the parliament to create the 'Naya Pakistan".
March will succeed and Islamabad and Lahore kingdoms will pay the price.
Tahir ul Qadri should announce support for Imran Khan in the general election if he really wants change. Timing of the march is not good as postponing election is going to be devastating for Pakistan.
Go home Qadri. We don't need you.
Imran spent 15 years in political wilderness but never asked anyone to join his march.......Even today he is not part of any conspiracy or back door channel. This what a true leader is......I am wiaitng for the day when he starts the political campaign for election 2013.......
Come on Imran....join the long march and bring real change to Pakistan!
najam sethi seems to be right when he says that tahir ul qadri will fail without the support of imran khan. Tahir ul qadri has realized it.
u wish PTI joins u . i pray they dont make this mistake !
MAY ALMIGHTY ALLAH GUIDE YOU TO SUCCESSN :AAMEEN.
imran khan has made a wise decision avoiding qadri march. I must add i am glad imran khan has strongly condemned lashkar e jhangvi for it's evil actions against shia
