ISLAMABAD:

Ambassador of Kuwait Nawaf Abdulaziz alEnezi called on the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf here at the PM house on Friday and informed him that the Kingdom of Kuwait was considering lifting restrictions on issuance of visas to Pakistani workers.

AlEnezi also informed Ashraf that a high-level delegation will be visiting Pakistan soon to recruit doctors, paramedics and workers.

It may be recalled that the premier, during his visit to Kuwait on the sidelines of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit, had taken up the issue of visas with the Ameer of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah alAhmad alJaber alSabah, who had assured him of looking into the matter.

Talking to the ambassador of Kuwait, Prime Minister Ashraf said that Pakistan and Kuwait enjoyed close relations, which were growing from strength to strength.
