ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) cancelled with immediate effect the No Objection Certificate (NOC) it had issued for the development of the Roshan Pakistan Housing Scheme in Sector E-16. The action was taken because M/S Roshan Pakistan Corporation did not complete post NOC formalities, a CDA press release issued on Wednesday stated. The release added that the civic agency waited for more than seven years for the corporation to fulfill the formalities. The CDA also warned the general public “in their own interest to refrain from investment, sale and purchase of land or plots in Roshan Pakistan Corporation Housing Scheme”.
