The Supreme Court directed the establishment division to produce records of the transfers and postings of those civil servants who had approached the court against their posting.
The two-member bench of the Supreme Court, while hearing a case on the protection of civil servants, directed the establishment division to produce the records of senior investigator Hassan Wasim Akhter, his wife, and former SP of the I-9 sector in Islamabad, Dr Khurram Rasheed.
The court also dismissed a notice issued to the Islamabad Chief Commissioner over the transfer of the former Islamabad assistant commissioner Rabia Aurangzeb.
In addition, it issued a notice to the establishment secretary over what it considered the untimely posting of Dr Shafiqul Rehman from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to the law and justice division.
