Voluntary action: Three hand over arms to security forces

The elders assured their full support to the security forces in this regard.

UPPER DIR: Three people voluntarily handed over huge cache of weapons to security forces in Wari police station on Tuesday. The men identified as Jan Muhammad, Abdul Hammed and Ameer Zaman, hailing from various areas of Upper Dir voluntarily handed over guns, rocket launcher and a large number of bullets to security forces. Talking to an elder in Wari, Major Awias said that no action would be taken against those who voluntarily handed over the heavy weapons to the security forces, adding people need not worry about the repercussions. Security Device Manager and the station house officer of the police station were also present on this occasion. The elders assured their full support to the security forces in this regard.
