On strike: Milkmen protest colleague’s murder

Milkmen Association warns of a strike if assailant is not arrested.

HAROONABAD: Milkmen across the city observed a strike on Tuesday to protest the killing of a colleague two days ago. Hidayatullah was killed by robbers on resistance. The Milkmen Association had demanded the police to arrest the assailant in 24 hours and had warned of a strike if he was not arrested. On Tuesday, the protesting milkmen staged a rally and surrounded the City police station. They dispersed two hours later when the SHO ensured them that police were searching for the culprit.
