Football: Udinese routs Inter 3-0

MILAN: A second half brace from Antonio Di Natale either side of a strike from Luis Muriel handed Udinese a stunning 3-0 home win over Inter Milan yesterday. Inter started their first game of the 2013 campaign hoping to relaunch their title bid, having dropped to nine points behind leaders Juventus prior to the winter break. However, this was not to be, with Udinese having little trouble containing Inter. They made the Nerazzurri pay for a series of missed chances early in the second half with three quick-fire goals which exposed Inter’s defence. The win sees Udinese move up to eighth place, while Inter remain in fourth place.
