LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge has sought comments from a Federal Investigation Agency director for January 7 on a petition against the owner of Future Concern, a visa consultancy firm, for alleged fraud. Petitioner Kiran Nisar submitted that she visited the Future Concern offices in June and sought help for a British visa. She said the accused demanded Rs4.28 million for his services. She paid Rs280,000 in advance and was told she would be able to travel to England within a month, she said. But she did not receive her visa in one month and the accused began to make various excuses, she said. Eventually, he stopped taking her calls and avoided meeting her in his office. She approached the FIA, but they did not accommodate her, the petitioner added. She asked the court to take legal action against the owner of Future Concern and recover her money from him.  There are already dozens of similar fraud cases pending against the firm.
