FAISALABAD: The district administration has asked police to take action against the “illegal and extremely dangerous” mini, mobile petrol providers operating in the city. Recently, the number of vans and pickups fitted with oil tanks has increased, noted the administration, adding that the operators were providing fuel to small factories and for generators installed at towers of various mobile service providers. “The people are running the business without an NOC,” it said. The police and district government teams were asked to launch a crackdown on the illegal business “that can cause damage to properties and loss of lives”.
