Non-payment: Power supply to 7 facilities cut

FESCO disconnected the electricity over non-payment of dues.

MITHA TIWANA: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company on Friday disconnected electricity supply to five railway stations, a veterinary hospital and the Railways Colony over non-payment of dues. Supply to Khushab, Joharabad, Hadyali, Mitha Tiwana and Quaidabad stations was disconnected. Fesco officials said that Joharabad station had not paid Rs34,000, Khushab station Rs4,000, Hadyali Rs600, Mitha Tiwana Rs7,000 and Quaidabad Rs17,000. The veterinary hospital had not paid Rs11,000. They said that the Khushab-Kundian section had paid Rs2.5 million of its Rs3.3 million dues. Power supply would be resumed after the remaining Rs800,000 was paid, they added.
