Duped: Swindlers deprive man of Rs580,000

Police registered a case against the nominated persons and hunting for them.

RAWALPINDI: Three swindlers have deprived a man of cash on Wednesday. Asif Iqbal, resident of Machli Mandi, told police that Amir Hamza was working at his shop.

His brother Nazakat, Rafaqat, uncle and father, came to his shop to take Hamza along with themselves because of a death in the family. “I ordered tea for them and went out of the shop. In my absence they broke the lock of my safe and decamped with Rs580,000. Police registered a case against the nominated persons and hunting for them.
