ISLAMABAD:
Ten Pakistani companies will participate in the Xiamen International Stone Fair to be held in China from March 6 to 9.
“This is for the second time that Pakistan is participating in this fair to showcase marble and stone products and develop business ties with international buyers,” a senior official of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) told APP here on Monday.
“We have been finalising arrangements and interested companies have been asked to register themselves with TDAP by January 4,” TDAP Director Robina Taufiq Shah said.
She was of the view that participation in the fair would help Pakistan attract international market for its marble and stone products. She said China was one of the major importers of Pakistani marble and the event would help businessmen to boost trade with China.
