Ehsanullah Ehsan, spokesperson for the TTP , confirmed that the bodies were of Taliban members and said they were earlier arrested by security forces on different occasions.
The bodies were recovered from Mir Ali Road in Tehsil Miran Shah which is located 13km east of Miran Shah Bazar.
The security official added that the militants belonged to South Waziristan Agency.
Local tribesmen told The Express Tribune that the militants' bodies were thrown on the road Sunday night and were recovered by locals passing by.

Finally!! A sigh of relief!!
@Naseer Ahmad:
You must be kidding me .. Are you saying if we are invaded Army will sit quietly and wait for political leadership to defend? Whom they took permission from when they ruled this country for nearly 35 years? Who did they take permission from when they overthrew directly elected parliament? Put behind bars elected prime ministers and hanged one as well?
@Naseer Ahmad: Why can't Army protect Pakistani citizens in the name of national interest like they did throughout our history. It's their primary job anyway and does not required any public conscience. The ground reality is that It's the GHQ who needs to decide when to end the policy of keeping stretigic depth and ignore Talibans.
@Naseer Ahmad: Really. Who do they ask permission of before overthrowing democratically elected governments or launching disastorous operations like Kargil or playing politics and dictating foreigh policy and defence.
One does not understand as to why the civilian leadership is reluctant to take a clear decision how to deal with TTP.The army is not supposed to take any action on its own
Why not the whole of the tribal area takes a united stand against these bigots? Afterall, all the statistics show that majority of the suicide bombers and terrorists are from the Pashtun tribes. There must be a united stand against them in the tribal region so the problem could be helped a little? I dont think the number of these criminals is so high that the peaceful and brave Pashtun tribes could nt overcome them easily?
@ KHaN ,Now , muslim will kill distorted muslim and international force will leave the battle field and will be always helping the true muslims through a drone cover and required logistics .
Judiciary has nothing to do during war time .
Why are you now changing your colour.
@kHaN: I think you forgot golden cremation.
@kHaN: There are genuine reasons for hating the isi and army. The main one is creating and nurturing these monsters with cia help. I agree with your argument but tell me if there is a judicial system in land of pure and if it works. How many terrorists have been freed by the judicial system and what is the conviction rate.
Those who are saying it is great, please bite your tongue. I am as mad and shocked as you for our soliders' murder but please remember, we should hold ourselves to a higher standard. We are better than a group of thugs. We are a civilized nation. Taking revenge is the easiest, letting the law take its course is harder. If people are escaping Through the clutches of justice, we should enforce the law, not return one barbaric act with another.
@All of you
Who guarantees that your celebration and approval of this barbarism will not encourage the so called peace keepers to come next at your door step and shoot your brother and justify it by linking him to the Taliban?
Extrajudicial killings are not acceptable in any civilized society no matter how cruel your enemy is. There should be a difference between terrorists and a state military. What Pakistan needs is to empower it's judicial system that deals with these culprits. Such a barbarism only create more troubles for the state; the people in FATA can now have a better excuse to hate the military.
Nice work, both sides. Now they will kidnap and kill some more and you can in turn kill them in revenge. 1970/71 all over again. Muslims don't kill Muslims. Islam is a religion of peace. Foreign hand/India/Israel/U.S did it.
Some good news for the new year. These dangerous beasts need to be treated exactly like that. These thugs quote concepts of human rights and professionalism when they are at the receiving end. No mercy for these ruthless murderers.
If one sees the recommendations of above stated comments can well assess how fast societal behaviour is changing to extremism. People like kHaN have weak single favour while those arguing well done have dozens. A strange trend.
@Asad: @kHaN: America also does it but with drones and those that are killed you call them innocent women and children.
Just response of 20 Pakistanis slaughtered by TTP. It's war, judicary is compromised, so be it.
@kHaN: Because Americans don't have gut to do that. We sallute you Pakistani Army. Keep it up
@kHaN: People of Pakistan were sick of the professionalism shown by Judiciary when dealing with these rats. It only get us killed. Glad to see the security forces are responding the way it should be in act of war declared upon us by these kharjittes.
They are the enemy of Pakistan and they deserve for more than that.
Those asking about barbarism stuff etc please just justify how TTP kidnapped and killing 21 levies personnel, isnt it an act of barbarism?what about killind Shias and blasting Imambargah?isnt it an act of barbarism?what about capturing wounded soldiers and beheading them mercilessly while they are making video of them?Can you justify all of it?I say just crush them all to get rid of them once and for all.
@kHaN:
"The Americans in Afghanistan don’t even do that. A barbaric act of retaliation."
Migrate to Afghanistan then.
@kHaN: professionalism, compassion, sympathy all got killed in a suicide attack.
After 21 soldiers killed wht else can be done to taliban. thats the language of negotiation they understand. I hope this is done by our forces and i hope these official killers are disciplined enough for rest of their life. good job pakistan forces. we are still short of revenge.
Under the circumstances, one has to change the rules of the game. It is unfortunate that law is violated, but remember what happens when you bring them to prisons. Bannu incidents like things happen. Their cohorts kidnap people and ask government to release the militants in exchange. Moreover, who will speak against them in the court. And one should also remember that they did not give the 21 soldiers a trial either.
Extremely good news. These taliban (TTP) are enemies of pashtun nation. They are paid to finish pashtoons from the face of world. The only way to deal with them is to crush them.
Bravo, security forces have to be ruthless to control militancy in Pakistan.
keep it up guys, but i agree JUST 9 Bodies, anyways moer power to yu our forces, and hope you slay these barbarians as soon as possible, and rid our country of these filthy self proclaimed holy warriors..lets get rid of these animals, best of luck to Pakistan Army and all Pakistabni security forces fighting these animals.
just 9, well better than nothing. keep it up guys, no need to bring them to courts
This is the brilliant reply to their insanity. Believe, they deserve only this sort of language. Rather than killing them with bullets, hang them on squares in every major tribal city.
The Americans in Afghanistan don't even do that. A barbaric act of retaliation. Where did all that professionalism go?
