LHC bench: Lawyers boycott courts

Tiwana says a high court bench in Sargodha was “essential”.

JOHARABAD: The district bar association on Thursday boycotted courts to demand that a high court bench be set up in Sargodha. Malik Habib Nawaz Tiwana, a member of the Punjab Bar Council, said that lawyers across the division would continue to boycott courts for a day every week until a high court bench is set up. He said a high court bench in Sargodha was “essential”.
