LAHORE:

Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ashiq Jourah on Wednesday allowed a woman to go with her husband on his application seeking recovery of his wife from her parents.

Petitioner Sajid Ali told the court that he married Saima Shehzadi on September 15 but after a few days her parents took her with them at gun point. He prayed that the Barki SHO be directed to recover his spouse and produce her before the court.

A bailiff was deputed and told the court that Shehzadi’s parents had handed her over to him.

On Wednesday, Shehzadi told the court that she wanted to live with her husband. The court directed that she should be allowed to do so.
