ISLAMABAD: The preparations for Christmas across the city are nearly complete. The preparations include house decorations, arrangement of eatables, purchase of gifts and party plans on Christmas day. The decoration of a house includes putting lights indoors and outdoors, and placing the ubiquitous Christmas tree. People exchange gifts, share love, shower blessings and tighten the bond of relationships by forgetting old grudges. In this respect, the occasion is quite alike the Muslim traditions of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha. Christians in Pakistan form the second largest minority, following Hindus.
