PM Raja Pervez Ashraf has announced one-day mourning on Sunday across the country over the death Bilour, reported Radio Pakistan.
KP government has announced three days of mourning with the flag standing on half mast in remembrance of Bashir Bilour.
Funeral prayers for Bilour will be offered at 2:00 pm, December 23 at Sher Khan Stadium.

Bomb squad experts said the suicide bomber detonated his explosives when the ANP meeting was at its peak.
"The suicide bomber walked into the house where the meeting was taking place and detonated his vest," Shafqat Malik, chief of the Bomb Disposal Squad, told AFP.
Four policemen were among the wounded.

The Pakistani Taliban have claimed responsibility for the suicide attack, according to a spokesperson.
ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan mourned Bilour's death and said it was a great loss for the country.
Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira spoke of Bilour's bravery and commended his efforts in the war against terrorism, as reported by Radio Pakistan.
PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, MQM leader Altaf Hussain, and PTI leader Imran Khan offered their condolences and condemned the attack.

Doctors said Bashir Bilour had severe injuries on his chest and stomach and was on the ventilator as doctors tried their best to save him.
Bilour was brought in to Lady Reading Hospital in serious condition as he did not have a pulse and was not even breathing, a hospital official told Express News.
The official added that when he was brought in he was in a state of shock and doctors and specialists tried for 1.5 hours to resuscitate him, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Haji Noor, his personal secretary, also died in the blast.

Federal Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Bashir Bilour's elder brother, spoke to Express News and said, “We live in a Pakistan where Maulana Maududi, Maulana Abdul Haq Haqqani had signed on the constitution. We don't know who is a sinner and who is on the right. Were those who signed on the constitution were they Muslims or are these [terrorists] muslims? We just don't know!”
He added that Bashir never fussed much about security, but he was always accompanied by one or two guards. Ghulam commended Bashir for his bravery.
Bashir Bilour's funeral arrangements will be finalised after his sons return, according to Ghulam.

KP Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, while talking to Express News, said that he salutes Bashir Bilour. "He sacrificed himself for the country and he fought against militants," Hussain added.
Hussain reports that he and Bilour used to get 3-4 threats every day.
The KP minister demands a tripartite commission between the US, Afghanistan and Pakistan to solve this crisis.

Bashir Bilour died from his injuries while being treated at Lady Reading Hospital.
Two motorcycles and a car were also destroyed in the attack.
This was the third time Bilour had been targeted by terrorists and was on their hit list.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain confirmed that Bashir Bilour's condition is critical.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Pervez Ashraf and Interior Minster Rehman Malik have condemned the attack while Malik also demanded a report from IG Police, KP, reported Radio Pakistan.

Provinicial MPA Bashir Bilour is in critical condition after being injured. Doctors are currently operating on him at Lady Reading Hospital.
Three of the injured are in critical condition and are in the ICU.
Bomb Disposal Squad has determined that this was a suicide blast.

Kabli police station SHO Sattar Khan was killed in the blast, along with four others.
Police officials reported that the blast went off during an Awami National Party (ANP) rally.
Bomb Disposal Squad and more police officials are en route to the scene of the blast.
The injured have been moved to Lady Reading Hospital.

I condemn the brutal killing of Bashir Ahmas Bilour. He was not only a snior Minister , but also Nationalist leader He was a brave, couraggeous and decent man. He was against the terrorists and their nefarious activities. @Imran although I dont believe the "Tattoos" hav much to do with anything. Bt "exceptions prove the rule" if 1 terrorist who claimd to be following Islam had tattoos, it can be considrd as an exception. Zarqawi had tattoos on hs body prior to his radical journey-and every 1 around him considrd hs practices un Islamic and called him the "green man" because of the tattoos. He is also reported to hav used acid to remove some of the tattoos on his body post-radicalisation.
This is extremely sad news even for us, Afghans, as Mr. Bilor was one of the few persons in Pakistan who do not draw that illusional line between good Taliban and bad Taliban. Again, now there's still time and room for Pakistani nation to stop supporting the good Taliban if they don't want such "terrorism" in their country. May Mr. Bilor rest in peace.

I can't stop my tears. We are running short of brave men. A couple of years ago when a suicider tried to get near to Bashir Bilour and the guy was identified as a suicider, Bashir Bilour tried to talk him out of it but he still detonated his vest and miraculously Bashir Bilour survived. KPK has made too many sacrifices. It is time for other political parties to squarely denounce Taliban and not that" WE condemn the acts of terror". Remember this fire is gonna reach every Pakistani's home, so please lets get together and force the political parties to come clear and no more mincing of words.

Same is the case with TTP as they can easily send on e single brainwashed underage person, to among thousands of innocent people to detonate a bomb....they are the cowards themselves sitting in the laps of anti Pakistan elements !!!!!!!!

I have serious ideological differences with ANP, still they are pakistani and believe in electoral democracy. Mr. Bilours was very soft spoken and a very decent guy, even if he wasn't he was pakistani and him along with others who got martyred have my prayers and condoloscence. This being and english daily I assume lot of commentators are well educated, which is sorry state of affairs that even in tragedy our 1st response is to score political points. Then we wonder why most pakistanis can't be united against terrorism. How about educated class first get united and teach the rest of masses why we must fight against terrorism. Political point scoring will only get you ET comments, which seems to be enough for our educated class.

And still PML-N and PTI continue with their support to these barbarians, providing ammo for furthering their agenda of hate. Their workers as well as leaders (who also claim to be more Muslim then the others) blame every incident on USA, Israel, and India. Yet all the bomb attacks target secular forces, and none against the Jihadi and pro-Taliban parties. After the Peshawar Airport attack, the shameless Information Secretary of PML-N was shifting the blame too. That ignorant person didn't know that the Butcher of Baghdad, Zarqawi, also had tattoos.
The only way to solve this problem of religious radicalism is to ban the political activities of all the parties which do their politics in the name of religion, they should not be allowed to contest next elections. Strong message should be sent to terrorist sympathisers such as Fazlur rehman and munawwar hassan, their narrative about religious radicals is the main cause of desensitization of the masses about the gruesome acts perpetrated by terrorist religious radical elements.

PML(N) has never supported Taliban whereas PTI is a political wing of Taliban. Don't mix them.
I cannot understand what kind of madness in going on in this country, dignity of human life is virtually non-existent these days in pakistan. Religious radicalism is a curse in all its manifestation in any part of the world.

PPP, MQM, MLN, ANP, etc already destroyed this country. What else remaining in the country, that you are pointing your extremists views over PTI. A party which never comes in power and is not responsible for the mess which the parties in parliament done it with the country. And remember, Mr. 10 percent is not in PTI.
