North Arabian Sea: Live weapons firing by PN fleet

Admiral Sandila appreciates operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy fleet units.

In an impressive display of fire power, recently inducted ships in Pakistan Navy fleet conducted ‘missile firing’ in the north Arabian Sea on December 19 and 21.


Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, along with Chairman NESCOM M Irfan Burney, were present onboard PNS Zulfiqar to witness the test firings.

According to a spokesman for Pakistan Navy, the display included firings of a variety of modern missiles, including the maiden Land Attack Missile (LAM). All the missiles engaged the targets with pinpoint accuracy.

Admiral Sandila appreciated operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy fleet units.
