KARACHI:

Emirates announced an enhancement of its operations to Peshawar from February 1, 2013.

The airline will operate an additional two frequencies to its present three weekly flights to Peshawar to assist its growing customer base in the northern region of the country and add additional cargo capacity to the route, according to press release.

The introduction of the additional flights will increase the weekly number of services to five, and will raise the total number of Emirates weekly flights to Pakistan to 56.

“Emirates has been serving Peshawar since 1998 and proven to be a very popular service with our passengers,” said Khalid Bardan, vice president of Emirates, Pakistan.
