Hearing: Two in Tyno case get bail

Both men furnished bail bonds of Rs100,000 each.

LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Anjum Raza on Tuesday granted bail to two men accused of being involved in selling the Tyno cough syrup which is said to have caused the death of 19 people in Lahore.

The judge granted post arrest bails to Ali Medical Store owner Muhammad Rizwan and Fida Hussain, owner of Bismillah Medical Store. Both men furnished bail bonds of Rs100,000 each. The judge fixed December 19 as the post arrest bail hearing of the third accused, distributor Abdur Rauf. The judge had fixed December 20 for arguments on the pre-arrest bail hearing of accused Khalid Saleem, the owner of Recko Pharmaceutical Company Lahore.
