
Kaleemullah, also became the highest-scorer in the tournament with 26 goals.
“I wasn’t expecting this milestone,” Kaleemullah told The Express Tribune. “I injured my foot three months ago and kept worrying about my performance. But I played to make a difference for my team.”
The 22-year-old also led the national under-23 side in the Sri Lanka tournament earlier this month where he had scored against Bangladesh.
“Being a part of the national camp improved my performance.”
KRL now top the table with 55 points after 21 matches ahead of Army who are on the second place with 51 points.
Meanwhile, Wapda stayed on the eighth position with 26 points after 24 matches.
