Burglary: Over Rs0.4m worth valuables looted

RAWALPINDI: A house was robbed in Iqbal Town on Friday night. Dr Muhammad Mehdi lodged a complaint with the Sadiqabad police that three armed robbers broke into his house and held the inmates hostage. They ransacked the house and made away with prize bonds worth Rs200,000, three mobile phones, a 222-bore rifle worth Rs200,000, a licensed pistol worth Rs60,000 and other valuables. The police registered a case but no arrests and recoveries were made till the filing of this story.
