The computer center will modernise the Planning and Engineering sectors of the DISCOs.
FAISALABAD:
A computer centre was inaugurated at the office of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO). The inaugural ceremony was presided over by USAID Power Distribution Programme Chief of Party Craig Van Develde. Addressing the event, Develde said that the centre had been set up by the USAID as part of the US government efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s energy sector and end energy shortages. The computer center will modernise the Planning and Engineering sectors of the DISCOs, hence improving energy distribution across the region.
