KARAK: A woman was killed, while her two children were severely injured, when an accumulation of flammable gas resulted in a blast in Nari Paos on Tuesday. Gulab Khan, a relative of the family, said that at around 3am, the victim lit a fire, resulting in an explosion caused by leakage from a gas pipeline that was spread across the room.  The woman and her children sustained injuries, while two rooms of the house were damaged when a blazing fire erupted after the explosion. Gulab added that the woman died on the way to hospital due to severe burn injuries. The two children, five-year-old Saad and six-year-old Sawaira were shifted to district headquarters hospital where doctors referred them to a burns unit in a hospital in Peshawar.
