Young budding social entrepreneurs were given certificates on Saturday at a ceremony at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF).
Fayeza Khan was awarded Rs50,000 for the most innovative entrepreneurship idea.
The ceremony was held to honour the winners of the Youth Social Enterprise Competition 2012 organised by the Youth Engagement Services (YES) Network Pakistan and the UAF Social Sciences faculty. Office of Research Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC) director Dr Asif Ali presided over the ceremony. YES Network CEO Ali Raza Khan was the chief guest.
Dr Asif said the youth should use their creative potential to bring positive change in the society.
