ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has installed a pedestrian bridge at Zero Point. An official of the civic body said the bridge will provide safe passage to pedestrians moving between sector G-7 and G-8, where a number of government offices and media houses are located. The official said that given the heavy movement of students on the pedestrian bridge near the federal colleges, the civic body recently constructed another pedestrian bridge near I-8 intersection to facilitate pedestrians. He said the civic body is planning to install overhead bridges, sheds on bus stops and other facilities which were either removed or damaged during construction work on the highways.
