Accident: GT Road blocked by student protesters

College students stage protest, demand immediate arrest of driver of vehicle which ran over their college fellow.

NOWSHERA: College students staged a protest and demanded immediate arrest of the driver of a vehicle which ran over their college fellow in Pabbi. Uzair, a student of Azaan College, was waiting for a bus on GT Road when he signalled it to stop. However, the speedy passenger vehicle went out of control and ran him over. Residents immediately rushed to the spot, but Uzair succumbed to his injuries on his way to hospital. Later, students of various colleges took to GT Road and suspended the traffic for hours. The road was reopened when Pabbi police SHO Shakil Khan said that the culprits will be arrested.
