Large amounts of ammunition and explosive material was also recovered from their possession.
There were reportedly 1,000 Rangers personnel involved in the operation, while two helicopters provided aerial surveillance to the operatives.
Three safe havens constructed in the mountains were also discovered, where explosives and devices used in constructing bombs were also recovered.

Let the investigation agencies do serious and in depth interrogation and let these guys help us to find more such terrrorist rats. Fume them out of their hiding holes and get rid of them all, once and for ever. Karachi for Karachiites of all languages and origins with only condition of brotherhood and no Talibnization or ethnic divide.
83 people got arrested and handed over to police! and they will let them go..:D
83 taliban arrested? where is that written? Surely most of em will be from the ethnic ruling political party in Karachi. Next operation should be in azizabad and sohrab goth!
It says "suspects" not Taliban. That's why 80 of them will be released soon and 3 of them will be interrogated for a few months and then ultimately will be released based on the lack of evidence and witnesses.
Within a month they will be freed.
83 Talibans arrested by the Rangers and 3 safe havens (constructed) in the mountains were also discovered, where explosives and devices used in constructing bombs were also recovered. Now, this is some good job and must be commended----salutes! 83 arrested 6917 more hiding there------they all must be traced and destroyed before they destroy us and Pakistan, they all must be found and destryed and all such dangers must be eliminated------- Go Rangers go!
