Action against violators: Two more agrofarms sealed

ISLAMABAD: Make that six. Two more agrofarms were sealed by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday for violating the terms of their lease agreements. The move came a day after the civic agency closed four farms in the Orchard Scheme in Islamabad for nonconforming use and bylaws violations. The CDA sealed plot 25 in Poultry and Vegetables Scheme IV and plot 20 in the Orchard Scheme, said a press release. The former was being used as storage for engineering material and the latter had been turned into an office for Global Packers cosmetics.
