Asif, Iqbal continue unbeaten run

Pakistan’s top cueist Muhammad Asif continues his unbeaten run in the IBSF World Snooker Championship.

Pakistan’s top cueist Muhammad Asif continued his unbeaten run in the IBSF World Snooker Championship by thrashing Canada’s Fabian Louison 4-0 in his third round-robin match in Bulgaria.


Asif eased through the match 67-31, 81-28, 78-08 and 71-18. In his first two matches, Asif had beaten Afghanistan’s Nadir Khan Sultani and 4-1 and got the better of France’s Ahmed Benraïssi 4-0.

Meanwhile, compatriot Asjad Iqbal has been on song as well in the event by registering victories in both his matches. Iqbal started his campaign with a 4-1 win against Bulgaria’s Nikola Kemilev before defeating Austria’s Sebastian Hainzl 4-2 in his second outing.
