Mehar, addressing a press conference at his residence in Karachi, said that he has informed his party leadership regarding all the issues he had.
Opposing the recently passed Sindh Peoples Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO), Mehar complained that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government did not fulfill its promises of giving Sindh its due rights.
Earlier reports suggested that Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf had de-notified Mehar from his ministry, but Mehar insisted that he had resigned himself and was not removed by the government.
Around 11 more PML-Q members, reposing their confidence in Mehar, announced submitting their resignation from the party as well.

*So far so good.
lets wait a few months ,and see the way the camel sits,,,,,,
The Mahars of Sukkur, the Mahars of Ghotki, the Shirazis of Thatta, the Arbabs of Thar, the Jatois of Moro and the Jatois of Dadu have long been supported by the establishment through thick and through over the past two or more decades.
Most of these people have very recently clambered on the PPP political bus fearing that the establishment may no longer no able to help them doctor results in the coming elections.
Ghous Bux Mahar appears to be the only one currently adrift. No doubt he is in search of some powerful mentor to ride him through the next elections. In the end after a round of beneficial negotiations he will probably become yet another new 'stalwart' of the PPP.
Let's see how 'Mr. Politically Genius' deals with it!
