Targeted attack: Three policemen injured in bomb blast

PESHAWAR: Three policemen were injured when a bomb planted in a motorcycle went off near a police check post in Sarband on Monday. The police said that unidentified militants parked the motorcycle near the Achini cross check post, which had 2.5 kilogrammes of explosives fitted in it. It destroyed the bike and injured three policemen, including Rehmatullah, Aqil Ahmad and Luqman Ahmad. They were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) and are in stable condition.
