Two numbers, one sim: Warid introduces new package

KARACHI: Leading innovation with many firsts in the telecommunications industry of Pakistan, Warid Telecom brings ‘Double Number Offer’ which allows Warid users to get two numbers on one SIM without carrying two handsets or dual-SIM handsets.  All Warid prepaid customers can avail the offer.  Once subscribed, the system will be given a randomly selected number from the double number pool and will be notified through an SMS on the primary number. Subscriber can opt to specify a schedule to shutdown the secondary number for a specific time period. Moreover, particular numbers can be barred from calls or SMS on the double number. Existing Warid user can activate their double number on their existing SIM by texting SUB to 3311. Subscription charges are Rs7 per week.
