Road mishap: Eight of a family die as truck overturns

HYDERABAD: Eight members of a family died and three others were injured when a speeding truck overturned near Jhangara on Friday. The victims were the relatives of Syed Karam Shah Abdal, the custodian of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine. The passengers were going to attend a religious gathering when the incident occurred on Jhangara road, which has been under construction. Two-year-old Zain Khaskheli, six-year-old Saba Khaskheli and 12-year-old Azra Khaskeli were among those who died. The deceased were laid to rest in Sehwan.
