SHAHDADKOT:

Two cousins were shot dead on Friday in Miran Machhi village within the jurisdiction of the Qaboo Saeed police station. The victims were identified as Misri Solangi and Hatim Ali Solangi.

Hatim Ali, who hailed from Miro Khan taluka, was visiting Misri and the two men were driving around the village on a motorcycle when armed men on two motorcycles intercepted them, shot them dead at the spot and sped away.

SHO Wali Jan Magsi went to the crime scene and along with law enforcers took the bodies to the rural health centre for post-mortem.

The bodies were handed over to the families for burial after medico-legal formalities.

SHO Magsi said that of the four suspects involved in the attack two have already been identified.

The police will apprehend the suspects soon, he added. The incident sparked a feud among members of the Solangi tribe, as both the victims as well as the suspects belonged to it. The two cousins were reportedly shot dead over karo kari. Further investigation is underway.
