Did you know? The Rock and Susan Sarandon together at last

Dwayne Johnson, better known as The Rock, is back to his action-thriller roots in the upcoming film, Snitch. Based on a frontline documentary of the same name, Snitch stars Johnson as a father who will do anything to protect his family.

Johnson’s son in the film has been wrongly accused of drug dealing and is incarcerated for the mandatory minimum of 10 years. In an attempt to get his son out of prison sooner, The Rock gets involved in the drug trade to act as an informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), reports the Huffington Post.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, Snitch also features actors Susan Sarandon, Benjamin Bratt, Barry Pepper and JD Pardo. The role of Sarandon, who is an Oscar-winning Hollywood veteran actor, is of a high-powered US attorney.
