An additional district and sessions judge fixed December 3 for framing charges against Shan Khusro, son of Additional Federal Secretary Khusro Parvez, accused of murdering his former class mate Hamza Elahi. The court accepted Shan’s application asking for copies of an inquiry conducted by the police in which 10 people recorded statements. According to an FIR registered by Fazal Elahi, father of deceased Hamza, in Burki police station against Shan Khusro, Hamza left home after he spoke with Shan on a mobile phone. Fazal later found out that his son had been shot down in Defence Phase VI. Shan told the police that he had accidently shot and killed Hamza. He said that he had gotten an unlicensed gun from a personal contact in Farooqabad. Shan said that he panicked and pushed Hamza’s body out of the car and fled.
