Vehicles without stickers will not be allowed

All vehicles participating in the mourning processions on Muharram 8, 9 and 10 have been directed to get permission letters from the Traffic DIG office at Garden Headquarters between November 21 and 23.


Law enforcement agencies, ambulance services, town administration and media vans must obtain passes or stickers, DIG Traffic Police announced on Tuesday.

Scouts associations and social welfare organisations should submit applications addressed to Traffic DIG along with original documents and attested photocopies at the Scouts Coordination Council’s central office at Numaish till November 21.

No stickers would be issued on Ashura. The stickers are to be pasted on the windscreen otherwise no vehicle would be allowed to move with the mourning processions.
